My family has always been a source of love, strength, and guidance, and I deeply value the role they play in my life. Whether it's celebrating achievements or supporting each other during challenging times, my family has always been there, and I love them dearly!

My friends are incredibly important to me, and I truly love and appreciate every one of them. They’ve played a significant role in my life, offering support, laughter, and companionship through all the highs and lows. Just like family, my friends have been there for me during both challenging times and moments of celebration. I value the deep connections we share, and I’m grateful for the countless memories we’ve created together. To me, friendship means loyalty, trust, and always having someone to rely on, and I’m fortunate to have friends who embody these qualities. I cherish the bond we have and look forward to continuing our journey through life together.
Art Gallery
This drawing features an old man and myself. It was inspired by recurring dreams in which this old man kept appearing. It holds a unique, almost mysterious, significance to me as I tried to capture his essence through my sketch.
This piece focused on nature and animal protection, themes that have always been close to my heart. I used vibrant colors and flowing forms to highlight the beauty of nature and raise awareness of the importance of preserving it.
This sculpture, representing a struggling man, was made during a particularly stressful year of my life. It symbolizes my internal battles and emotional struggles at that time, with the material and form reflecting the heaviness and tension I felt.
After visiting Tibet, I was inspired to create a drawing of a goddess of hell that I had seen during my trip. The spiritual and cultural richness of that experience made me want to capture her fierce and enigmatic presence in my art.
I created this ink painting as a decorative piece for my room, infusing it with contemporary elements to convey the message, "keep calm." The blend of traditional and modern design brings a peaceful yet stylish vibe to the space.
In this piece, I carved and printed an image of birds flying out of a cliff, which symbolizes success and the belief that good luck follows those who take bold steps forward. I love how the carving process allows for intricate detailing, and the black ink adds a bold contrast that enhances the meaning behind the artwork.
Will and Jenna
Will Ding, my boyfriend. We met during our freshman year at UCSB, and since then, he has been a constant source of love, support, and joy in my life. Will is from Shandong province, China, and our shared experiences at UCSB have only deepened our bond. I am genuinely grateful for every moment we’ve spent together.
Sports
One of my greatest interests is esports, specifically League of Legends, and my favorite player is Doinb, the 2019 World Champion in the mid lane position. His relentless work ethic and positive mindset have always inspired me, and I consider him a role model not just in gaming but in life.
I’ve been a huge fan of Fernando Torres ever since his time with Atlético Madrid. Even though I don’t play football, watching Torres on the field has always been a thrilling experience. To me, he’s the coolest football player, and I admire his style, skills, and professionalism.
Tennis has been a big part of my life since I started playing at the age of five, and it remains my favorite sport to this day. My tennis idol is Rafael Nadal. I’ve been lucky enough to watch him play live several times, and seeing his sheer determination, skill, and passion on the court is awe-inspiring.
Food
Food is my favorite way to relax and enjoy life. I absolutely love noodles—any kind and from any cuisine. I’m also a big fan of oysters and salmon roe, which are my go-to seafood indulgences. On top of that, I have a deep appreciation for anything sour, which always adds an extra kick to my meals. Eating good food is one of the simplest and most enjoyable pleasures for me.
Miffy
Miffy has always held a special place in my heart. She was the first cartoon character I ever connected with as a child. My mom used to play Miffy’s anime on TV, and I quickly fell in love with the character’s simple yet adorable design. She also bought me Miffy books and toys, making the character an essential part of my childhood. To this day, I still have a Miffy toy that has stayed with me throughout my entire life. Miffy symbolizes innocence and comfort, and she continues to bring a sense of nostalgia and joy whenever I see her.
